Check Out The Brand New Crownline 285

Rambo Marine just got in our first New 2012 Crownline 285. This boat is going to blow people away with its size and value. The interior includes massive seating and great features like a reversible rear lounger, "hot tub" bow seating, bow armrests, and two captains chairs. The exterior has new updated lines accented with stainless everywhere and a huge platform!! One of the main goals Crownline had with the new hull was to create a larger boat that would run great without having to upgrade to the expensive big block. They accomplished just that as the Volvo Penta 5.7 Duo Prop does fantastic in this boat. Boat is also loaded with standard features like underwater lights, onboard battery charger, pump-out head, cockpit table, docking lights, fresh water sink, soft trac mat, and extended powertrain warranty.

MasterCraft Boats Recipient of NMMA Innovation Award for New Tower Design

MasterCraft has announced it is partnering exclusively with Ilmor Marine engines for its power train needs beginning with the 2012 model year.

Like MasterCraft, Ilmor’s history of success is nothing but exceptional. Founded in 1984 by Mario Illien, Paul Morgan and Roger Penske, Ilmor has become a world leader in high-performance engineering. This year we are proud to be participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys For Tots drive as a designated drop off point. We will be accepting toys at both Rambo Marine Locations between now and December 2nd. The toys should be new, unwrapped, and for children 12 years old and younger. Drop by and help us fill up a boat with toys for under privileged children who will not have a Christmas without our help.

Every time I go to the Lake, I see all these docks with two or three boats. Typically you see a smaller ski boat, a pontoon boat, and a larger sterndrive. In years past, there really hasn't been a boat that would do everything great. Customers wanted a ski boat for the recreational watersports, pontoon for large crowds, and large sterndrive to cruise quickly in rough water. MasterCraft's newest models are simplifying boating. The Warrior River has long been a undiscovered jewel of the Alabama Waterways. Especially considering it runs right into downtown Tuscaloosa!! With the huge success of other waterways near stadiums, like TN River and Vol Navy, Tuscaloosa is finally embracing the River. New Developments like the Riverwalk Condos may soon create a popular new boating site for us here in Alabama. With it being within walking distance of the nations #1 football team's stadium doesn't hurt either. Residents of beautiful Bankhead Lake, which is only 30 min from Birmingham can travel to the games via boat. Check it out!!

We would like to thank everyone that came out for our Annual River Run. We went from Scottsboro, AL to Downtown Chattanooga. The weather was perfect and fun was had by all. If you have never made the trip, you need to definitely check it out!! Fall is a great time to do with the leaves changing and cooler weather!

Lake Levels Set To Increase Alabama Boating Season

Here in Alabama, we are extremely fortunate to have some of the most beautiful waterways in the world. Several of our lakes maintain their water level year around which combined with our Fall and Spring weather gives boaters a much longer boating season. A couple of our larger lakes (Smith Lake, Lake Martin, Logan Martin) are dropped during the Fall and Winter. If you have been an annual boater on one of these lakes, you may want to check out the new lake levels!! Lake Martin is being dropped close to a month later now and risen a month earlier. This is giving us a much longer boating season, so don't start planning on your boat away just yet!!!
